We’re honored to be recognized as a Hunger Relief Champion, partnering with Great Plains Food Bank to help end hunger for those in need throughout North Dakota and Minnesota.
Through our partnership with Great Plains Food Bank, team members have volunteered in the following ways:
Additionally, we donate $4,000 annually toward a one-week event in March that helps Boy Scouts distribute flyers to make people aware of a large food drive that benefits Great Plains Food Bank. During this time, people can donate items at Gate City Bank locations. Additionally, we’ve donated 1.8 million blue tote bags in total – thousands of them to help transport food to individuals in need.
No one should have to go hungry. That’s why we invested in converting a pop-up food pantry into a permanent hunger relief program in West Fargo, ND – the first of its kind in the community.
At the heart of our relationship with Great Plains Food Bank is our donation of a brand-new delivery semitrailer, made possible with a $250,000 pledge over 10 years. We donated the truck as part of the food bank’s initiative.
Learn more about our partnership with Hope Blooms, a nonprofit organization that repurposes donated flowers by arranging them into beautiful bedside bouquets for community members to inspire hope, happiness and emotional healing.
No one should have to go hungry or experience food insecurity. Learn more about how we’re partnering with Emergency Food Pantry to provide hunger relief in our communities.
For over 20 years, Gate City Bank and YWCA Cass Clay have joined up to provide safety, warmth and hope to those who need it most – a better way of life, especially for women and children.
Since 2014, we’ve been honored to partner with Dakota Medical Foundation – donating countless volunteer hours and dollars to benefit local charities across North Dakota and Minnesota.
