Lisa Liken Monroe serves as Senior Mortgage Loan Officer in Bismarck, ND, and brings nearly 25 years of experience to Gate City Bank. Originally from Huron, SD, she studied at University of South Dakota, majoring in mathematics and minoring in business administration with an emphasis in finance.

Outside of work, Lisa is involved with the local Board of Realtors and is a member of McCabe Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends, working out, playing bingo and spending time with her beloved dogs, Nacho and Jerry, who are both rescues. Most people don’t know that, as a child, she won a 6-foot-tall teddy bear from a local bank, and the experience made her want to work at an awesome bank and give back to the community when she grew up.

To Lisa, being a team member at Gate City Bank means giving your all to create a better way of life for customers, communities and fellow team members. Among Gate City Bank’s Principles of High Standards, her favorite is Sense of Urgency because “I work hard to return emails and calls ASAP.”
