Launched in 2008 by Dakota Medical Foundation, Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour fundraising initiative benefiting charities across North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. As a longtime supporter, Gate City Bank is committed to empowering generosity and creating lasting change in the communities we serve.

This year, we shared the love throughout our incredible communities, surpassing $244,000 in total Giving Hearts Day contributions. That includes:

  • Donating more than $100,000 to various organizations through sponsorships and pledges

  • Matching more than $54,000 in Giving Hearts Day donations made by team members

  • Contributing $20,000 in regional gifts and $10,000 in Golden Ticket funding
