Online bill pay is an optional feature we offer through online and mobile banking that allows you to pay bills anytime, anywhere – using your computer, smartphone or tablet.

With online bill pay, you can set recurring payments, schedule future payments and send one-time payments, seamlessly and securely directing funds from your Gate City Bank account. You can also track due dates and avoid lates fees more easily by setting notifications for upcoming payments.

Just as with a paper check, it’s important to maintain sufficient funds in the account to cover all payments. Please note that you may be charged a non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee for payments returned for insufficient funds. Refer to the Schedule of Fees for information on fees.

It’s easy! For online banking, navigate to “Move Money” in the main menu, then select “Bill Pay.” From there, review and accept the terms and conditions, and you’ll be good to go!

Signing up with our mobile app is a breeze, too! Simply choose “More,” then hit “Bill Pay/Zelle®.”

If a payment is to be sent electronically, the money will be withdrawn from your account on the date selected. If handled by check, funds will be deducted once the recipient deposits or cashes the payment.

You can easily verify withdraw dates under the “Activity” tab in online banking. For the mobile app, simply navigate to “More,” then select “Bill Pay/Zelle®.”
