The award recognizes exceptional contributions in promoting affordable homeownership, especially through outstanding delivery of NDHFA’s programs. As the #1 mortgage lender in North Dakota, the bank is incredibly honored to receive this prestigious award.

In addition to our NDHFA partnership, we've implemented a number of innovative products and services that help promote homeownership, as well, with one example being our BetterLife™ Student Loan. The first and only program of its kind in the nation, it helps customers consolidate student loan debt and pay it off faster, featuring no fees and low fixed interest rates. Since 2015, we've helped 3,460 customers save more than $35.2 million in interest. (An average of $10,100 saved per customer!)
Additionally, Gate City Bank promotes affordable homeownership through competitive interest rates for VA loans, rural development loans and our MinnStart Home Loan. On top of that, we offer helpful education resources, convenient digital signing options and pre-approvals that are simple, fast and free.
