Along with our NDHFA partnership, we’ve implemented a number of innovative products and services that help promote homeownership, as well, with one example being our BetterLife™ Student Loan. The first and only program of its kind in the nation, it helps customers consolidate student loan debt and pay it off faster, featuring no fees and low fixed interest rates. Since 2015, we’ve helped 3,480 customers save more than $35 million in interest. (An average of $10,000 saved per customer!)
Additionally, we promote affordable homeownership through competitive interest rates for VA loans, rural development loans and our MinnStart Home Loan. We also provide helpful homeownership resources, convenient digital signing options and pre-approvals that are simple, fast and free. Not to mention, we offer a $500 credit to qualifying first-time homebuyers1, and we donate $50 to a charity of choice upon loan closing.2
