Potential Exposure of Debit Card Information

We are aware that Debit Card data may have been potentially exposed at the companies listed below. Gate City Bank is committed to protecting you:

  • We have a Fraud Detection Center that monitors your Debit Card for potential fraud 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can recognize fraudulent purchases because they are generally made outside of your normal spending pattern. Fraudulent transactions are likely to be denied, you are not liable for any unauthorized transactions, and Gate City Bank will reimburse you.
  • We recommend that you monitor your account and contact us immediately if fraudulent transactions are discovered. Use Online & Mobile Banking to monitor activity on your card, receive transaction alerts and turn your Debit Card “on” or “off” to help protect against fraud.
